How To Deal With Dry Skin Naturally

While winters can be harsh, nature has provided a way to deal with the problems it presents, including dry skin.  The problem with this issue is that it’s not just dry skin, it further leads to itchy skin, blotched skin and skin with breakouts. But before things go to that extreme and your preteen is refusing to go to school, or your little ones cannot stop crying, I advise you to pick up some of nature’s gifts and not to let dry skin ruin your children’s day (Or yours).

Here’s what you can do:

Olive Oil

Olive oil is the best moisturizer there is. A full body and face massage before showering will help you and your kids keep the body moisturized throughout the day.

White Vinegar

Dry skin leads to cracks on the skin which further leads to itching; Use white vinegar to get the cracked skin back to its healthy self.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is the best hydrator to use on the skin’s surface.  Using it daily on the skin will keep dryness at bay.

Milk retains the moisture of the skin as well as exfoliates the dead skin away, Milk combined with other natural ingredients like rose water, becomes even more effective for treating dead skin.

Yogurt is naturally cool, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory in addition to being a self-hydrating agent. Applying it will instantly make children feel better due to its soothing properties.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is such an effective remedy for dry skin that applying this every night will make sure you or your children never have dry skin. In case you ever wondered what makes models look so shiny-skinned all the time, it is coconut oil.

Pick up any of the above ingredients available at your home and make sure your family is free from the curse of dry skin.
