The Benefits Of Baby Reflexology

Reflexology is a very interesting and fascinating aspect of the human body and can be used for helping minor ailments. Reflexology is a very wide topic where various reflex points on the feet, hands and ears can affect other body organs and systems and have beneficial results. The application of reflexology is even more beneficial in babies and can make life easier for both you and your little one.

Solar Plexus

The area below the balls of the feet corresponds with the solar plexus and massaging it gently helps with tummy issues which are often prevalent in babies. This reflex point is also very advantageous with treating trouble breathing in babies.

Sinus Issues

The toe pads, when massaged in circular motion, clear the congested sinus cavity of babies.

Digestive Issues

Constipation and gassy stomach gives a tough time to parents and babies. They can neither sleep well nor rest easy when awake. Rubbing the upper and lower center area of the feet helps treat these conditions.

Heel Massage

Heel massage is good for hip problems in babies and yet another hack for treating tummy issues.

The area just below the toes, the balls of the feet, directly help a baby’s lungs. When massaged in circular motion, it helps the babies to breathe easily in case of asthma or sinus issues which in turn help with better sleep.

Teething and Head

Teething is difficult for babies and they often end up with a fever. The tips of the baby’s toes are connected with the head and teething and massaging it will ease the pain and make the process easier.

Using reflexology will not only bring peace and comfort to a baby, but it will also make them (and you) less cranky and much happier. 🙂
